Gabi’s list of vintage

Whenever I get the chance to visit a vintage shop, I immediatly go there. You can literally loose me in there, because I won’t be back outside in only five minutes – in fact: I can literally be in there for at least half an hour! Since I’m a big vintage lover, I decided to make a list of my favorite vintage shops in the Netherlands. So if you’re visiting our beautiful country this Summer or if you’re gonna make a city trip, go check them out!

The Hague

I’ll start in my own city. The Hague isn’t the largest vintage city in The Netherlands, but we do have some very nice vintage shops.

Ilka Vintage & Secondhand

The first shop that pops up in my mind is Ilka Vintage & Secondhand located in the Sumatrastraat 160. This is one of my favorite shops in The Hague. Vintage lover Ilka has a small but great vintage & secondhand shop with a mix of high-end brands, such as Isabel Marant and Burberry, and more affordable labels, like H&M and Zara. Due to the variety of brands, styles and sizes, there’s a lot of choice and the prices are affordable too! What else do we need, girls?

Zusjes Vintage Boetiek

Zusjes Vintage Boetiek is a new and affordable vintage shop at the Boekhorststraat 93. Soulsisters Moniek and Sanne decided to bundle their passion for vintage and opened an art nouveau styled shop in the city centre. They already have a large womenswear collection, but they’re also busy with creating a menswear collection. The shop has a lounge corner with a sofa and coffee, so you can absolutely visit this shop with your boyfriend and/or father!

Jack by Jackie

Jack by Jackie located in the Prinses Mariestraat 7C is the place-to-be for designer items! This shop sells brands such as Prada and Gucci and has its very own shoe room. There are three floors of vintage over there, so if you’re a great fan of luxury vintage items go there and treat yourself!

Other vintage shops that you can visit when you’re in town are Episode, Secondhand Rose, Anneke Secondhand, April Secondhand Vintage Shop, Bennies Fifties Den Haag, SPOOKY & SUE, Mika Bella, Heet Strijken, Liza’s Exclusieve Mode, All-Labels and Second Hand Boutique.

My favorite Dutch vintage city is Amsterdam. Here you have lots of choice for both men and women and I’ll guarantee you that you won’t return home empty handed!

Time Machine Vintage

One of my favorite vintage shops in Amsterdam is Time Machine Vintage. They were the first vintage shop of Amsterdam when they opened their doors in 1969. A visit to this shop feels like opening a treasure kit. Are you getting excited to go treasure hunting? You can find this shop in the Nieuwe Hoogstraat 5A.

Tommy Page Mantique Menswear

For men’s only vintage you must pay a visit to Tommy Page Mantique Menswear at the Prinsenstraat 7. This is a beautiful vintage shop with a variety of classic English menswear. It seems like the time stood still when you’re in there, it’s a lovely shop for quality clothing!

Marbles Vintage & Design Amsterdam

Marbles Vintage & Design Amsterdam has a huge collection of vintage items with its three (!) shops in the city centre. The shops are located at the Staalstraat 30, Ferdinand Bolstraat 28 and the Haarlemmerdijk 64. They have an impressive selection of handpicked vintage clothing, for both men and women, especially leather bags and shoes. With three shops you’ll definitly find something that suits you! Enjoy!

Other vintage shops that you can visit during your visit to our capital city are Zipper, Episode, Rumors Vintage & Design, I Love Vintage, Laura Dols, Bij Ons Vintage, Kiloshop, Wini Clothes etc., First Vintage Fashion, Tut & Hola, We Are Vintage, Tutti Frutti, Bis!, van OnS, La Doyenne Vintage, Jansen Vintage, Bullitt and De Ruilhoek.

Rotterdam is our second largest city and with the largest port in Europe, this is a very bubbling city with lots of cafés, shops and other sights. I listed some vintage shops for you there!

Nonsens Loves Vintage

For vintage with a twist, Nonsens Loves Vintage is the place-to-be! You can shop the items online via Instagram and Etsy and there’s also a private Nonsens Atelier in Rotterdam that you can visit by appointment. Here you can find a wide collection of vintage items, handmade clothing and accessories, styling advice by owner and stylist Kim and festival make-up. So for a whole new look, you’re in good hands at Nonsens Loves Vintage!

Knetter Kleding

With its 30 years of existence, Knetter Kleding is a well-known shop in Rotterdam. They sell very colourful and unique vintage-style clothing for both men and women. With their personal touch and their variety of sizes from 36 to 46, there must be something that fits you perfectly! Knetter Kleding is located at the Nieuwe Binnenweg 88 A.

For more vintage shopping in Rotterdam, you can visit Dion vintage, Dearhunter Vintage, Cheap Fashion, Vintage & Labels by Hendrikus, Lily Scarlet, Sweet Rebels, Bobby Pin Boutique Vintage, Het Waterlooplein Tweedehands Chic en Nieuw, Ruby Lee and the Vintage Factory, Fase 2 Tweedehands Dames-en Kinderkleding, Volle Kast, Bo Delaire, Boetiek Sister Moon and Vidi Vici.
